"I've always loved working with people. So working at Langdon of Exeter was a natural fit."
"A big shout out to the Langdon Exeter staff for their expert guidance and support in welcoming our mother as a new resident. Mom cannot speak highly enough about the care she receives. Our family is tremendously grateful for all Langdon does!

"First of all I have many wonderful things to say about the staff. My Mom has thrived at Langdon Place and we couldn't be happier.
The week after she moved in my brother, Chris, her only son was tragically killed by a drunk driver. You can only imagine the indescribable shock and grief we all suffered. The week following his death and after his service, the staff was amazing with their concern and support they gave my Mom. They brought her flowers, made sure she ate and encouraged her to rejoin the activities she enjoyed. My sisters and family were all trying our best to be with her while we dealt with our own grief and that of our children's and Chris's family. It was such a relief that my Mom was being looked after when we couldn't be there with her.

"Langdon Place has been a fabulous place for my parents. I can't say enough about how friendly and professional all of the staff is—from the director to the nursing staff to the activities staff to the dining room and custodial staff. It is a great place that offers not just a place to live but a place to live well and with dignity and community. I know that my dad is well taken care of by people who genuinely see him as an individual and support his needs. Thank you!"

"I had previously looked at over 15 communities before I walked through the doors of Langdon Place. After taking the tour and talking with some of the residents, I felt this was the place for me. My son came with me the next day and he knew I felt it was like home and that our search was over. Now, I can honestly say that living here at Langdon Place is wonderful. The staff is exceptional, the PT's are great, and all the other people who work here are so friendly and helpful.

“Season of Reflection,” the theme of this year’s National Assisted Living Week
When it comes to health care, quality of life has become increasingly important in recent years.
Maintaining health and wellness is an ongoing goal, even as we age — or maybe especially as we age.
While taking care of an elderly loved one, it’s important to also take care of yourself.
